Happy New Year!

Well, we've been hard at work over the holidays recording new material and doing some mixing for our upcoming full length release, due for release in 2012 (title and tracklisting TBA). We're all very excited with the direction as it's unique and inspiring for us; we're exploring sound on our own terms and with the themes we want to project. Expect to hear a lot from us this year, between the full length and other singles, remixes and covers. 

In the meantime, you can hear our new track "You Can't Go Back" in the Listen section.

The time is ripe. We were so excited about this particular track that we couldn't wait for any product or album to release it. Now is the time. This track began it's creation way back in 2009 at a late night jam. Listening to the jam results not much was usable except this single idea, two chords on the keys and a simple beat/vocal line, and a theme of initiation and spiritual growth. 

Finally, after a lot of work and analyzing, "You Can't Go Back" has been posted for FREE download in our 'Listen' section. For some of us, it's the best piece of art we have created.

All we ask is that if you get something out of the music, show a friend or post our music somewhere where others can do the same.

Friend of the band Lori Hager reviewed the song on her music blog "The Western Front". As of late she has been busy covering Western Canadian acts such as Truck and The Evidence, and you can read her feature on Post Death Soundtrack here.

A live acoustic rendition of Serenade has been posted as another download in the Listen section. You can download this track for free, along with every other track that gets posted.

A B-Side from the Music as Weaponry sessions entitled "I Will You Eat You Alive" has been posted alongside other PDS material in the "Listen" section for free download. Currently PDS is in studio working on their upcoming album, planned to be released in 2011. Keep checking back for more updates, and other free material.

Jon Ireson has just finished work on a brand new remix of Post Death Soundtrack's "Killing Time" entitled "Killing Your Mind". It's up for free download so we hope you all enjoy. More news on the way.

Hi everyone. Here's the latest. Post Death Soundtrack is currently putting the finishing touches on a unique interpretation of one of their favorite songs, "Venus In Furs" by The Velvet Underground. Also, our very own Jon Ireson is working on a mix of our newest original track entitled "You Can't Go Back", which we're very proud of and hope you enjoy once it's posted. We intend for these new offerings to lead to many more, and we'll be sure to keep you posted as they come in.
